Kel P

Udoma Peter Kelvin Amba is a Nigerian record producer, singer, and songwriter. He is best known by the trademark It’s Kel-P Vibes, which he has used throughout his career. His work as a producer and co-writer on the 2019 world album African Giant, which was nominated for a Grammy, is what he is best known for.

At the moment, he is under contract with Aristokrat Records and Universal Music France, and he has a management agreement with Jones Worldwide. According to OkayAfrica, Kel-P is one of the key figures who have helped take Afrobeats to new heights. This recognition comes from OkayAfrica.

In 2021, he was a co-producer on the album Mother Nature by Angélique Kidjo, which won the Grammy for Best Global Music Album, and on the album Made in Lagos (Deluxe version) by Wizkid, which was nominated for a Grammy. Kel P: Only about few years ago, not a lot of people knew the name of this amazing music producer.

Rexxie

Ezeh Chisom Faith, who goes by the stage name Rexxie professionally, was born on November 10, 1994. Also known by the tag (Yo! Rexxie Pon This One), is a DJ and songwriter who hails from Nigeria. He is also a record producer.

He is well-known for having invented the Zanku sound as well as for having produced Naira Marley’s Soapy and Tesumole, as well as the massive hit KPK with Mohbad.

P2J – Nigerian music producer 

P2J is the stage name of Richard Olowaranti Mbu Isong, who was born in Nigeria on 11 July 1987 and currently resides in London, England. He is a Nigerian-British record producer. It is his collaborations with artists such as Beyoncé, Wizkid, Stormzy, FKA Twigs, Burna Boy, Tems, Doja Cat, and many others that have brought him the most fame.

Again, P2J: A Nigerian born, London-based music producer “P2J” is worthy of praise. He has been holding down Afrobeats even much more than he gets publicity for, that could be because he is running things from London town.

However, P2J also known as Pro2Jay has been making Afrobeats music for the likes of Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy for a while now. Currently, he is the go-to guy when American or British music acts need the Afro flavour on their records.

He has produced for Goldlink, Chris Brown, and many other foreign music stars. His best effort yet would be producing several joints on Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album. Some of the tunes he produced are ‘Don’t Jealous Me’, ‘Water’, ‘Ja Ara E’, co-produced ‘Brown Skin Girl’, ‘Scar’ and ‘Keys To The City’.

Cracker Mallo

Cracker Mallo was born in 1996 and is a musician who produces music, sings, and writes songs. He is originally from the Lagos Island region of the Lagos state in Nigeria. His musical style is a synthesis of a wide variety of musical genres, with Afro Beats serving as the primary foundation.

Perhaps you have heard that voice tag ‘cracker cracker cracker’ before, while listening to your favourite tune. The magic on that song was done by Cracker Mallo. Cracker is the guy behind tunes like Mayorkun – Sope, Slimcase’s – Azaman, Fireboy DML’s – Jealous and more.

Pheelz Mr Producer

Phillip Kayode Moses, better known by his stage name Pheelz, was born in Nigeria on June 5, 1994. He is a record producer, singer, and songwriter who has collaborated with a variety of artists and musicians, including Olamide and Tiwa Savage, among others.

Pheelz, who was born and raised in Lagos, is credited with producing all of the songs on Olamide’s album, Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, with the exception of one. His song “Finesse,” which was a collaboration with Bnxn and was a hit in 2022, was written by him (formerly known as Buju).

The YBNL in-house music producer has been around for a while and has produced some of the biggest hits in country recently.

Young Jonn 

Young Jonn is a musician from Nigeria who is currently signed to Chocolate City Music. He is talented in the areas of songwriting and record production.

In addition to that, he is well-known for his successful singles Dada and the remix with Davido. Prior to his current focus on songwriting, he was a successful music producer in the 2010s and a member of the YBNL mafia.

He was named third on The NET’s list of “Nigeria’s Top 7 Biggest Music Producers” and was nominated for “Producer of the Year” at both the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and the 2015 Headies.

Young Jonn: Also known as the wicked producer, the multiple award-winning beat maker still ranks as a go-to music producer at any time. He made the beats for Kizz Daniel’s viral ‘Fvck You’ song and the challenge that followed thereafter.

He also produced Mayorkun’s smash hit True’ which featured Kizz Daniel. Young Jonn understands his sound clearly.
